The importance of monitoring your personal health and fitness levels

The importance of monitoring your personal health and fitness levels

Monitoring your personal health, at home or wherever you may be, is of vital importance to your wellbeing - and it's really a very simplistic process to engage. As a matter of fact, it takes very little effort at all. It's more a matter of simply paying attention to a few variables and then writing a few things down for future reference..

When you desire to assess your personal health and fitness levels, you need only employ a bit of logic. We all understand that certain factors increase our bodies' balance and energy while other factors quicken our aging process and decrease our longevity. So, on that note, let's examine several factors that are associated with effective health monitoring and how to pay closer attention to them.

Weight

Here's the fact: Most of us are simply too heavy. Obesity is the single largest cause of health problems in the world. It is directly and indirectly correlated to almost every single cause for malaise known. We need to become intimately aware of our weight at all times. We need to keep a chart (just a little number written down each day) to bring our attention to the fact that weight matters and serves as a direct indicator of obesity.

Diet

Obviously, obesity stems from overeating and/or improper eating habits. What you eat truly is what you become over time - in a very real sense. It you consistently eat high-fat foods, then you will become a high-fat human - and thereby suffer from issues including:
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • High blood pressure
  • Various forms of cancer
  • Increased bodily fat stores
  • Verburdened joints, tendons and ligaments
  • Inefficient blood-nutrient delivery
  • Lethargic behavior
  • Muscular atrophy
  • Clogged arteries
Conversely, if you adhere to a food intake pattern that is based primarily on water-rich foods (vegetables), then you too will become water-rich and experience equally-positive benefits. It's actually very simple - no medical magic needed to explain it.

Exercise

Again, the truth is of a simple nature. Exercise stimulates the metabolism; burns calories; assists the body in efficient waste elimination; encourages the release of natural "feel-good" hormones; strengthens the immune system and just makes us feel better. To monitor our personal health has a lot to do with monitoring our exercise levels and bringing them up.

Water

Monitor your health and wellbeing by paying closer attention to the amount of cool, crisp water that you consume. Water is the essence of life as well as the only beverage consumed by every other creature besides man. It flushes the body from the inside and hydrates every cellular structure.

Breath

The only thing that will kill you faster than not having water is not having breath. Take the time to monitor and improve your health by intentionally breathing - nice, slow and deep. Pay attention to your breathing and watch your health improve.

Now, there are many electronic home health monitoring devices for sale in today's high-tech markets. You can purchase heart monitors, blood pressure monitors, glucometers and a hundred other products. But, what good does it do to simply plug a machine up to yourself and wait for a number to pop onto the screen? You have to monitor your health from within. You have to address health issues before they become issues in the first place.

Increase your wellbeing and reverse your aging process naturally by paying closer attention to your diet, exercise, water intake and breathing patterns. Let Heart Wizard help you track healthy changes you make.
