How to slow down the ageing

How to slow down the ageing

Biological age and calendar age are two entirely different concepts. We have all seen the 70-year "young" person as well as the 28-year "old" person. The difference lies in the choices that individuals make concerning their lifestyles - how they choose to live their lives. When we learn about and employ strategies to slow or even reverse the aging process, we also:

  • Decrease the multiple burdens of stress
  • Lessen our probability for the development of cardiovascular disease, cancer, strokes, arthritis, bone generation, and a multitude of other health problems
  • Decrease bodily fat stores
  • Lose weight
  • Reduce blood pressure
  • Increase inner healing abilities and internal balance, and much more!
Let's examine some of the issues that must be addressed if we are to become that "young" 70-year old that we all wish to be:

Reducing stress

Even the AMA has finally admitted that at least 80% of all preventable disease is stress-related. Unless we learn to relax and force problems to roll off of us, instead of over or through us, we are doomed to age quickly. Meditation, regular exercise, plentiful water, healthy food choices, good doses of humor and intentional happiness are the keys to rid ourselves of stress.

Water-rich diet

Choosing foods that are water-rich goes a long towards reversing the aging process. Our food is where we derive all nutrients from. Nutrients are what fuels our bodies to remain young and vital. When we consume a lot of animal muscle and organs, we are taxing our bodies heavily and causing them undue stress and physical hardships.

Refreshing water

Water is the essence of all life. Nothing save dust would exist without it. It hydrates us, grows our food supplies, cleanses our systems and grants us our very existence. Drink plenty of fresh, cool, crisp and clean water every single day to slow your aging processes down to a crawl.

Regular exercise

Put quite simply, if you sit around too much, you're going to age a lot quicker than if you get up and move. The body needs regular exercise to stimulate metabolism, keep muscles and bones strong, flush out waste through perspiration, release feel-good hormones, help digest foods, clear the mind and reduce stress. Regular exercise is an integral key for reducing the aging process.

Efficient waste elimination

The reason that all of the other factors for slowing the aging process are so important is because they all lead to efficient waste elimination. When the body cannot eliminate wastes properly and effectively, it can only store it inside. This results in putrification of stored waste and causes the body's systems to become toxic. This toxicity in turn is the catalyst for the onset of most diseases. That's the simple truth in a nutshell.

Your calendar age really has nothing to do with your biological age. You will be as old as you choose to be at any given moment of your life. Begin today to reduce your biological age by choosing a healthy, active and stress-free lifestyle!
