5 ways to assess individual health issues at home

5 ways to assess individual health issues at home

We all desire to be optimally healthy; all of us want to live long in constant states of wellbeing. Assessing our health issues at home is an important factor in achieving these goals. We have to become aware of our bodies and of how they performing for us at all times. It is simply not feasible to continually run to a physician and so we must learn to assess our own health issues at home.

We are our own best physicians - if we take the time to learn about our bodies and listen carefully to what they are constantly trying to tell us. Our bodies are incredibly complex machines that are actually very easy to appease. They give us a never-ending source of multi-variable information that we simply need to pay close attention to in order to properly assess our own individualized health scenarios. Here are some tips to do that:

1. You can take the electronic approach and purchase high-tech gadgets like blood pressure monitors, heart rate monitors, blood-sugar monitors (glucometers), thermometers, weight scales and more. There are also many home health tests online for your convenience and education. These certainly can't hurt, but there are better ways to assess your health at home.

2. Make a checklist that becomes a natural part of your everyday thinking process. Learn to ask yourself the following questions, and others like them, regularly:
  • How are my energy levels today?
  • Am I experiencing any soreness and/or pain?
  • Do I notice any inflammation on my body?
  • Am I thinking clearly?
  • What state is my emotional health in?
  • How's my posture today?
3. Assess your health by assessing your food-intake choices daily. What you put into your body has a direct and explicit bearing on how your body can perform - and how your health levels will be. Make it a point to focus on water-rich food choices (vegetables and fruits). By giving your body what it naturally needs, you will naturally increase your health levels.

4. Assess your health at home, or wherever else you may be, by assessing your breathing patterns. When your body is relaxed and functioning properly, so will your breath be. Pay attention to your breath as much as you can. It is a direct indicator of your bodily and mental health at all times.

5. Learn to tap into the ever-flowing knowledge that your bodily systems are feeding to your brain. Inside of you lies everything that you will ever need to properly assess your own health. Of course, that doesn't mean that you will never need to visit a physician - it just means that most of the time it is not necessary.

6. It's also very important to pay attention to your waste elimination habits. Sure nobody likes to discuss it, but it just happens to be about the most important bodily function to consider. If we are unable to eliminate bodily wastes, they are stored and become toxic to our systems. Regular waste elimination is a critical factor in all health assessment scenarios - enough said.

7. Assessing your own health at home is your responsibility. You will find that by learning to listen to your body, you will increase your vitality and longevity. You will live a healthier life - one that lacks the majority of health issues faced by so many today. Learning to manage your stress, increase your body balance, enhance your energy levels, reduce your risk for the onset of disease and strengthen your immune system is the greatest gift that you can give to yourself.

Enhance every area of your life simultaneously by assessing your own health situation constantly! Let the Heart Wizard™ help you track healthy changes you make.
