What is the Stress Sweeper?
Stress Sweeper is a biofeedback training tool utilizing a deep-paced breathing technique aimed to reduce stress, restore inner balance and improve overall health.
The Stress Sweeper is a part of the Heart Wizard™ which helps you to achieve stress relief by doing a simple 5-minute session of the deep-paced breathing biofeedback training. The Stress Sweeper helps you to learn how to intuitively change your breathing pattern and use this breathing technique to lower stress even when you are out of reach of your PC with the Heart Wizard™.
After each training session, you will see your achieved training results. The Heart Wizard™ will automatically adjust the level of your challenge to keep up your training performance. Using the Stress Sweeper regularly will help you to normalize your blood pressure, strengthen your immune system and improve overall health.

Doing the training session
Prepare for the session. The Heart Wizard™ provides simple-to-follow instructions to get started including visuals. Plug-in the Heart Wizard's USB pulse wave sensor, attach the ear-clip to your earlobe or a finger, sit down, relax for 1-2 minutes and be prepared to enjoy the relaxing deep breathing exercise.
Once you're ready, click the "Start" button for recording. The device will start recording your heart-rate and send it to your computer.
During the test you will be asked to sit comfortably and breathe deeply and evenly as you follow the on-screen pacer and listen to a pleasant pacing sound while the Stress Sweeper shows your current training score as an indicator of your training performance.

Upon completion, the Heart Wizard™ analyzes all data gathered during the session and generates an intuitive training session report.
Session results shown in the report:
Training Score reflects the final training score you achieved during the session. Higher scores can be achieved if you focus on synchronizing your breathing with the pacer. The score range depends on your difficulty level. "Beginner" works within 0 to 100 points range, "Intermediate" has scores ranging between 100 and 200 points, and "Advanced" has a range between 200 and 300 points. The difficulty level is automatically assigned to you depending on your training performance during the last few sessions.
Training Focus indicates how well you were focused during the session. The focus is scored in a range between 0 and 100 points. Focusing means following the breathing pacer precisely. To get higher focus you have to breathe as close to the pacer as possible.
Training Capability shows the best achieved score level during the session.
Progress Since Last Session shows the difference between the currently achieved training score and one from the most recent session. Do your best to keep this parameter positive at all times. |
